REGISTERASA.COM is now open to get your ASA registrations started. You can get your team individually registered, get your photo ID’s, purchase your individual insurance, get background checks done for all managers, coaches, assistant coaches, scorekeepers, or anyone else helping on the field or in the dugout.  Also you can get the ACE certification for the one coach or other person, remember that one coach or person MUST have the ACE certification and be present at any Championship play tournament. ALL of the above is REQUIRED per the ASA CODE if your team is playing in any type of ASA Championship play. This includes any type of qualifying tournaments such as the Virginia State Tournament, any Regional or National Qualifiers. This would include all Territory and all National Championship tournaments.
This year we will be using a new web site for registering your team for all ASA tournaments in Virginia. Go to www.tournamentmvp.com you will be required to register a coach and your team one time and we think you will find this web site more user friendly and find a lot more information about our tournaments.

Central Virginia ASA and Piedmont Virginia ASA will hold their annual business meeting on January 28, 2012, beginning at 9:00 am.  The meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn, Charlottesville-Monticello, 1200 5th Street Ext. (I-64 and Rt. 631).   Take Exit 120 (5th Street) off of I-64.  Please contact Piedmont ASA Commissioner Andy Dooley (piedmontasa@verizon.net) if you are planning on attending so he can insure adequate space in the meeting room, and that there will be adequate food for lunch (provided).This meeting is open to all commissioners, league representatives, travel and league coaches and umpires.
